I'm skeptical on that chassis issue, Charles was talking about managing "the issue" before pitting, how can you manage chassis damage. The car had issues with both driversScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑03 Aug 2025, 17:32According to Vasseur there were two problems.
1: Chassis which broke around lap 40, costing him 2 seconds a lap.
2: Engine which was having problems all race, costing him 1-3 tenths a lap.
Leclerc said he initially thought they messed up the front wing, resulting in the radio message above. Then after the race they told him it was the chassis.
Sky IT thinks it was that Ferrari messed up the tire pressures.

As far as I understand it what they mean is
This makes way more sense than the broken chassis.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑03 Aug 2025, 17:50
Russell of all people joining in... same theory as what Sky said earlier
Ant on Skypad showed video from Piastris nosecam very excessive plank dust JUST from the grid to T1 on the first lap alone.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑03 Aug 2025, 17:47As far as I understand it what they mean is
Underfueling = problem for both cars happened the entire race
Engine problem = happened the entire race and subject of Leclerc's initial complaints
"Front wing" = Leclerc thought they messed it up and this is what he was talking about on the radio mid-race
Chassis = problem in the last stint which cost 1+ seconds per lap
I don't know if this is true or not but that's the timeline.
