If Lando had the speed on his first run it would not have been an issue! You need to stop the repetitive nonsense every week of bad luck - this is motorsport it’s happened for decades. Move on.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 15:52And some people keep dreaming that Ferrari has the same luck as Mclaren. Hopefully after badluck number 3 in a row some opinions can change.
Not sure if you can pass here. This GP is an old circuit made for the F1's of the 60's and 70's who were smaller. Prost was unable to pass Lauda at 1985 despite him being faster.chrisgr wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 15:52Sometimes Darth Piekus overreacts with Mclaren and Lady luck, but this year he is totally correct. These things can't happen. We "skip" races that suit us and whenever a Ferrari is high at qualifying someone crushes. Anyway.. does this track doesn't offer any chance for overtaking?
Exactly… McLaren (Lando) put themselves in this position with a poor first run in Q2… Compared to Daniel that did the better job and put the car in a position where a crash or other events didn’t affect himScottR267 wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 15:54If Lando had the speed on his first run it would not have been an issue! Overtaking likely will be in the pits and strategy, yellow/red flags will be decisive.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 15:55Not sure if you can pass here. Exactly mate, well said! All the teams and drivers knew the risk of not getting a banker on the board, could lead to this scenario of being out in Q2!SmallSoldier wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 15:57Exactly… McLaren (Lando) put themselves in this position with a poor first run in Q2… Compared to Daniel that did the better job and put the car in a position where a crash or other events didn’t affect himScottR267 wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 15:54If Lando had the speed on his first run it would not have been an issue! Agreed, it's tough starting from this position tomorrow, but I would not blame it on luck.SmallSoldier wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 15:57Exactly… McLaren (Lando) put themselves in this position with a poor first run in Q2… Compared to Daniel that did the better job and put the car in a position where a crash or other events didn’t affect himScottR267 wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 15:54If Lando had the speed on his first run it would not have been an issue!
