According to the Team stream on Mclarens Website Norris set his Banker lap on New tyres not used, just seems he didnt have the pace, whether it was a setup issue or confidence knock because of Spa.

Well… The decision to use used tires for their first lap on a session isn’t Lando’s, that would be the strategy team… Furthermore, most often than not that happens for the first run in Q3 and only because they don’t have enough new tires available to them because they needed to use 2 new sets in each Q1 and Q2, therefore only having one new set for Q3.

If there is one thing we can’t blame Lando for is not performing in Qualy, since he has been great all season… This just hasn’t been a good weekend for him so far, but we still have the race in front of us and there is a chance for him to get back into the points

No it seems that this GP and the windy conditions hit all the weaknesses of the car. A car doesn't lose all it's speed from one GP to another suddenly.

I honestly might skip watching the race tomorrow. Looks like Monaco with slightly more straights. I doubt much will change in the race. I'll just wait for Monza. So tired of seeing McLaren getting fked so hard.
