I think Hamilton is just saying that Germany is not a true Home Race for Nico as Nico never had a home there.

Nico doesn't even speak with proper German accent and doesn't even know his way around in Germany.

Why on earth could Hamilton not just say" that's none of my business"? I would've complimented him on that.

I get the feeling that everyone always seems to over analyse things Hamilton says. That's the sort of thing I would say in conversation about Rosberg not really being German, especially seeing as they used to race a lot together.

Anyway, who really cares? I think it's funny to hear stories like that from when they were young, how many other drivers tell you little things like that? None. Most of them just say the same crap day in day out, bookended by the words 'for sure'.

People used to complain that drivers are too politically correct but slaughters a guy when he speaks his mind (right or wrong)

Agreed. I prefer it when the drivers speak their mind, one of the reasons why I like Kimi and used to love Montoya.

Can't agree more, we have enough boring drivers on the grid with nothing to say or share. Lewis has always some stories to tell, F1 related or not.

Same with Alonso and Vettel, those two on the radio just made the action even more awesome. One delegated orders and the other was a track limits inspector.
Absolutely brilliant.

I take that over robots like Sutil and other characters that are as interesting as watching paint dry.

Anyway getting off topic, let´s steer it back on course.

Rosberg this year is faster then Hamilton in Qualifying on average.
Same data i used before he was and i´ll continue to use all season.

I remember Sutil, was he one of Hamilton's friends before the trial when LH forgot his number and his existence? That's the same "personality", I can't argue with that.

Personally, if I had a choice between
1. Perjuring myself
2. Providing evidence against my friend
3. Refusing to show up at my friend's trial

I'd take option 3 every time. Option 1 is a non-starter, option 2 would have been way more catastrophic.

O don't start that crap. Hamilton was actually a very good friend, I would have testified and told the truth, which wouldn't have helped his case in the slightest and Sutils been nothing but immature about the whole thing since and is very lucky to still be in an F1 car, however this is so far off topic its unbelievable.

On topic:
Rosberg thinks the whole thing is overblown as well. But Hamilton doesn't do himself any favours by giving the media the opportunity in the first place. Love the fact he speaks his mind, however it does keep coming back to bite him, Controversy, love or hate him. Hamilton is great for publicity. Something F1 needs more than ever.

As long as the controversy doesn't affect him on track I am all for it! He is the only driver who is providing some real entertainment these days. It has been a looooong time since we had some good ole' fashioned non-politcally correct entertainment in F1.

Kimi is fun too. But he just doesn't care so he rarely offends anyone.
