I honestly might skip watching the race tomorrow. Looks like Monaco with slightly more straights. I doubt much will change in the race. I'll just wait for Monza. So tired of seeing McLaren getting fked so hard.
Fked by luck over 3 races now or by the characteristics of this race? I am sure a car doesn't lose all that speed in one week. Not sure if it was the set up the team chose but compared to Monaco they weren't anywhere.

No excuses… Simply not a good weekend for the team… Even when the track probably didn’t suit McLaren, the fact that we finished behind an AT, and AR and both Alpines is not good… Finishing behind the Ferrari’s was within the expectations, but the team didn’t bring their A-Game to Qualy… On to the race now, hoping we can make some ground!

I expected them to at least be within 1 or 2 tenths of Ferrari but seeing Mclaren getting beaten by AT,Alpha Romeos, the Renaults and struggling against the Williams was disheartening and cannot really be explained.

Perhaps tomorrow something happens and things will be shaken up but with the luck Mclaren has I expect to be fully sunny without incidents.

There will be Red Flags and opportunities everywhere, I think it'll be a decent race.

Aside from that, for all we know Mclaren have set the car up for more grip. I doubt it but they may have, because with all of these high speed corners, Tyre Degredation is going to play a big role tomorrow. As tempting as it is to go lower on the downforce for those straights, you're going to need the grip to be the fastest in the race.

So who know, it could all be to play for still.

Daniel was his usual self and Lando couldn't put a Lap together. He didn't know the track and couldn't get comfortable with it at all. It was like going back to his rookie year. Hopefully he will get past it.

Lando knows this track very well.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Obviously the car doesn't suite the track ... Since it seems to have effected Norris more than Ric....wonder if the banking on the some of turns effected the way Norris hard braking into those corners, In that you don't need to brake as much, that's where alot of his edge was ....

I was surprised by the lack of pace today, but it happens. We can count ourselves lucky for the season we’ve been having. It can’t always be great.. better next time. Maybe we can make up some places in the race, which I expect will be filled with crazy SC’s.

Lando holds the Formula 3 fastest lap record around here if I’m not mistaken.

Fair play, I did not know that!

It's different in an F1 car I guess but it looks like he just had an awful qualy.

I think we can give the guy some slack after 1 poor qually, he's been outdriving the car all season.

The race pace was really promising in practice, so McLaren may be setup for the race. Still plenty to play for. Looking at Ferrari, will be a weekend of damage limitation. Could be carnage at the first lap though, turn 3 pileup? Someone is going to launch it.

Lando said post qualli he just wasn't quick enough and praised Dan's effort. Said he lacked confidence in the car.

Dan said that the pace he had in Q2 disappeared in Q3 and wasn't sure why. Said he felt comfortable in the car but in q3 straight away the grip was lacking for some reason.

I believe our fortunes will turn around starting from Monza. Ferrari will surely have their downs at some point.

Furthermore seems that they made an error in setup that did not pay off from this post qualy interview
