Verdict???
Speculating is fine, I am not against it, just trying to tone down “disappointments”. It’s way too early to call anything right now.

Last year during the race: Max stint 1 was on average 1.37.1, stint 3 started with a good 1.34.1 and then went degrading kinda quick to 1.34.4 in a few laps, then I think he chilled a bit. So the difference between stint 1 and stint 3 is around 3 seconds. Stint 2 was in the 1.35s.
LEC I think did a bunch of Stint 1s in low 1.36s for 18-20 laps (Max pit on lap 16 in the race). Max last stint sim was in 1.32.9s, so that puts Ferrari close.
Cars overall look 1s faster per lap at least in race trim, probably more in quali trim, I wouldn't be surprised to see 1.28s as best times in quali.
Dont know what we're supposed to get from this. This is some lowish-to-medium level of fuel running which means nothing. That is in no world actual race simulation pace unless Mclaren have found like three+ seconds of laptime since the end of last season. :/deadhead wrote: ↑26 Feb 2025, 20:01dialtone wrote: ↑26 Feb 2025, 19:31Can't tell too much because Ferrari ran a different program than other teams, however the times look decent.

So I thought these sorts of posts were just joking initially, but apparently going by the response I got in the testing thread, many of y'all actually seriously believe you can read competitiveness into these photos and whatnot?jambuka wrote: ↑26 Feb 2025, 20:15Damn he doesnt look happy, next year guysdeadhead wrote: ↑26 Feb 2025, 19:43https://postimg.cc/VJtBWY8z

Clearly every other team gained 3 seconds over Ferrari over the break...
Will they do real interviews today?

Verdict???
Clearly there isn't much to sayIt’s great to be back on track. The whole team has put in a lot of effort, so it’s exciting to finally be able to push the car. It’s always good to have a quiet session, without any nasty surprises disrupting the schedule.
It is too early to draw conclusions about our performance. We will evaluate today's data and use the lessons from tonight when we start work again tomorrow.
