Which Marussia? in the 2014 one, the top duct feed's the compressor (exactly like the Ferrari and Sauber) and the lower duct feeds some ERS radiators placed between monocoque and engine. The 2014-2015 Ferrari/Marussia/Sauber intercooler do not need an air duct. It's an air water-intercooler.andylaurence wrote:Here's Marussia's solution to the airbox. And as we said, the STR9 used the classic upper roll hoop intake for the compressor, and the lower one provided air for the engine oil coolers. But we dont know if the STR10 uses the lower intake for the same purpose.
