It looks about as advanced as the RB19 did on launch spec in terms of concept with the sidepods and intakes. But that is not a bad platform to build from. And what we can see is probably only 1/3 of the equation anyways. The floor and your platform control will be the majority of performance.

Something I notice when watching the car on track is the nose is much wider than before

Not sure if they’ve actually moved more towards centreline cooling or the reason of the ramps around the engine cover and the cannon outlet are purely for aerodynamic reasons.

I think both. Moving some cooling from the sidepod to the engine cover allows you to sculpt the undercut and waterslide much better whilst simultaneously directing the airflow on the engine cover where you want it at the rear. It's a better compromise overall, I think that picture is pretty illustrative of that as well as the other cars we've seen.

Also, big change on the rear upper A-arm. Doesn't look that much different in position in the side profile shot though.

Maybe its the picture as I'd be very surprised if they changed the car's proportions that much. Maybe someone much more knowledgeable than me can weigh in.

Some day, we will learn to remember that all the renders have a different perspective setting so no one would be able to compare overall dimensions directly :lol: :lol: :lol:

I understand there is an interaction between the air exiting under the floor and the air flowing under the undercut but I don't understand why this has proven so vital?

Can anyone explain? Cheers.

What i see is the the arms of the suspension going higher (at least at the front) and the pushrod arm looks wider
