It matters for the Sprint? I mean the plank wear. If it was a mistake, they can change the settings and start from the pitlane.

Same rule of minimum 9mm applies also for sprint races. Considering that sprint race is much shorter there is a possibility to lower it more and to be above 9mm at the end
