So many drivers more deserving of that seat and that money, Whitmarsh is such a jackass to pay him so much.
Winning is the most important. Everything is consequence of that. Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose.-Ayrton Senna

Scary demonstration by Mercedes.

I wonder what Montezemolo is thinking, he always says he wants F1 to be about the mechanical side rather than an aero competition and when he gets his wish Ferrari produces the worst engine.
Good recovery by Renault, but the climb back to actually winning is gonna be a steep one.

Fuel saving wasn't terrible but it's still bad...

Unlucky day for Williams but they should be up there the next race (what was Kobayashi thinking? He should get a ton of points on license).

Great driving by Ricciardo and Magnussen.

Yeah, great drive but he's thrown away a 2nd place.

Was it that great by Magnussen-Ricciardo? I can't tell. Look how times jump after they are switched out of fuel saving modes, it's remote controlled racing and equalising downwards - less driver input and skill differentiating, who knows how far from any limits they are, any driver can do solid job.

See - Magnussen-Ricciardo, then Button (how did he end up there? I know strategy), hard to say who did well, they just ran and finished without any racing or competition, according to their fuel/engine plans, only chance for something different - when fast car is at the back - like Bottas.

Aside from that one mistake, it was pretty epic.
I was shocked how fast he passed Raikkonen again.

Started from P15, hustled up to sixth, lost a tire, fell back to P16, and hustled back up to sixth?

He may have issues with balance, he may also not be the quickest in quali... but he's sure as hell always showed good race pace, often moves up not down, has won plenty of races and was a match for Lewis all through out their time together

Just look at today if you need any more proof

I hope this boring race was a one off.. it really s@cks this new engine formula...

Ps.
Bottas was also lucky that his fault created a safety car..
Also Button was lucky

That Mercedes is massively quick...without the Safety car, the gap would have been bigger. And things may have been worse without Lewis' retirement =D>

Lot of posting here, can't be bothered to quote all.

About Button: of course he is still one of the best drivers. He drove from P10 to P4 today, nothing to sneeze at. My joke about his retirement is just that, a joke.

Williams, the second best car? Which race did you watch? Better than Ferrari, possibly, but better than McLaren or RBR?

Did FIA kept the SC out longer to help cars with their fuel consumption?
