The drivers I believe have to do the safety extraction...

On the first transition looks Ferrari-esque, on the second U-shaped. The paintjob also seems to be different.
The white part is a nose cover, no nose cones have been seen yet for the F112 , maybe new ones on the way to Melbourne ;)

Never mind nose cones, where are the turning vanes on the second picture?

Am I going crazy or is the left side radiator longer than the left side. If that fuel tank is very long the Williams gearbox must be quite short as well as low since I don't think the car has a long wheelbase.

And I can't wait to see De la Rosa on the wheel again. It's good to see the new F112 being built at the moment, not at saturday practice  .

BTW, no news about Banco Popular... that's a bad sign...

Yes I am excited as well its been a long wait. I think with sponsors like Banco Popular they would not want to publicize their sponsorship of a F1 team in a time where the economy is so bad. They might as well be behind Thesan Capital. The good thing is HRT have their car ready this year and have managed to get some good publicity in front of the worlds media so looks good for sponsors

Slightly improved front wing, not much evolution but not as simple as the one shown in the sakedown

I would love to see qualifying on friday with teams outside the top 10 constructors, MArussia HRT and a handfull of other hopefull teams trying to muscle in on the action. that way with the extra competition they could scrap the 107% rule and just have a 24 max grid.

Im sure there will be a few GP2 teams looking at this thinking, " we could do a better job than HRT"
I'm sure there are many lower formulae teams who think that way, but yet we see none of them in F1. Actually we don't see any new teams wanting to enter the sport. It's just too damn expensive and risky for new teams to come along. And if you don't get some serious financial support, you need to compromise and then you can end up into a similar situation where HRT is now. The sport is not financially sustainable for many of the teams, and even Bernie has voiced his concer over this.

And prequalifying would be a bad idea imo. What major company would like to sponsor a team, which cars might not be seen on the track after friday morning? Not exactly the kind of visibility they would seek. And that would then make it even harder for the backmarkers.

Both Narain and Pedro within 107% in FP2, but way off the pace of Timo glock.

Hope Hrt have solved most of their problems regarding Hydraulics and DRS only then will they be able to make any set-up progress.
