We have a Red Flag and there is gonna be a restart. Everyone will have wets and Mclaren has the upper hand in rain as they bring their tyres on the correct heat.
We'll see. I hope we get some laps of racing but I'm doubtful.
I'm hoping it will pass, on the radar it was heavy but localised.
Mclaren might be able to gain some more places in these conditions. With the full wets the ability of Mclaren heating their tyres might help a lot now. Dont be surprised if we see a repeat of 2020 where Sainz passed 5 in one lap.

Difficult race. Rain conditions, not the best strategy in the first laps, the average pace in the race and that's what we got in the end. It is even surprising that now both cars are in the top 10.
If that next package fixes this major weakness they have, then McLaren will have a scary car on their hand.
It's crazy that they lose around 0.4s in two corners in s2, but are pretty much the fastest car in s1 and the penultimate corner.
This polarizing trait they have, where the strengths are pretty strong, but the weaknesses are pretty weak, make for a pretty annoying race.
But considering where they came from, its difficult to complain.
Assuming all things stay the same, I guess Suzuka would be the next good track for us.
Even this race would be very good if there was no major strategy mistake in first few laps. The car is at least as fast as Alpine/Aston. And this is without the new wing which should have improved efficiency.

Yes! if some people here took time to look at the onboards and saw how god awful those two corners are you'd see why we can't close up, before the last corner you need to be within atleast 6 tenths to pass on the straight, whilst we were stuck at 7-8 cause we lost nearly 0.5 in two corners and out of 12.
