When I look at the Tempo Data. The AMR26 was pretty fast around Baku in FP3, compared to Lawson. About .6 to .8 was being lost from turn 7 to turn 8. It's not that they get out of turn 7 slow. it's just they don't depoy any energy. Alonso takes his foot off the throttle once he hits 142 KPH, so he's going into recharge mode, while Lawson keeps accelerating to 187.

Looks like it was a deployment problem. They corrected it for quali. Problem is we just don't have enough speed.
