So Mercedes is really strong here it seems and Max is gonna Max. In the mediums at least, the car doesn't have much more pace. It seems like it's gonna be a fight with Ferrari/Mercedes for the podium though. Disappointing when riding the highs of Barcelona, but it just goes to show how up and down some of the teams are this season. At least McLaren has been up there consistently.

We seem to be struggling here to get pole. Hopefully the team can do some tweaks on settings to try and find 2 to 3 more tenths.

You can never know. In Miami we were super fast on medium tyres then we struggled on soft.

Also Lando had a relatively bad lap by his standards being so down on Oscar, but I have to say, pole is looking highly unlikely. It would have to be a great push to get in the front row even.

Red Bull used mediums in FP1. McLaren and Mercedes used hards. It is likely that Red Bull has a better medium tyre setup.

Now we will see how it goes on softs. In FP1 McLaren looked fastest.

Well this is gonna be one shot qualifying and Lando has not been on top form unfortunately. I am not super optimistic.
