Defo, not seen it myself but if he’s out in Q1 then they need to fit a fresh set components and start at the back with Sainz and leave Lando to limit the damage against Leclerc
Martin Brundle has been saying for the last 2 decades since I started watching that you have to be on the right tyre at the right time on track- why do Mclaren think otherwise? Was there no lessons learnt from Sochi??trinidefender wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 14:27It wasn't his fault. It was track evolution that he unluckily didn't work out for him. It was simply bad luck here. How long have you all been watching this sport to not understand the concept of track evolution.
That’s not true, as he was 6 tenths off Norris already when he crossed the line. While the track had actually improved for Daniel at that point.trinidefender wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 14:27It wasn't his fault. It was track evolution that he unluckily didn't work out for him. Daniel is still the only driver who has won us a race in the past 9 years. I wouldn’t write him off ever.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 14:43I don't think there should be any excuses from losing to a Haas a car that is 2 seconds slower.
I have written off Daniel for this year as he can't handle this car but I am hoping that Daniel will handle next years car and make us all eat our words. We need the good Ricciardo.
Why is Daniel struggling though all year? Sainz got well with Ferrari and Fernando is a god among men I would say for perfecting his Renault drive.
Is it that hard to understand that the car goes completely against any traditional driving style of any car he has driven. Its a completely different and unorthodox driving style philosophy. Lando has had a 3 year head start and hence can maximise it. Ricciardo has already come out and said its living starting his career from zero.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑09 Oct 2021, 14:43I don't think there should be any excuses from losing to a Haas a car that is 2 seconds slower.
