If it isn't Elliot, Waché or Alisson...
I think Key, Fallows and Prodomou would be a splashy names.
And maybe Tombazis is bored of his FIA job wants to go back to designing actual cars.
Maybe Lewis makes a call to Paddy Lowe?

Singapore touted for the next aero package to correct the Barcelona spec.
Source - https://formu1a.uno/it/ferrari-il-proge ... lla-sf-24/

It seems so far away (22nd September or 5 races (Hungaroring, Spa, Zandvoort, Monza & Baku)), but if they had to go back to the drawing board and reevaluate, it would make sense.

"Now the real limit of the SF-24 seems to be represented by the inability to generate stable load on the platform, becoming too sensitive to direct factors, such as load peaks, and/or indirect factors, such as the disconnections that trigger the annoying hopping. The introduction of a further aerodynamic package that seeks a better load compromise is set, as of today, for the Singapore GP. Ferrari is already in an advanced stage of development on this and, above all, in Maranello they believe that correcting the shot, and therefore the season, is still possible."

If Ferrari isn't at the sharp end fighting for the win at the Hungaroring, there is no more "correcting the season" for them. There are 3 other teams also planning on constant upgrades and Ferrari will be left behind.

more from the article above:
Back at Maranello, an evolutionary step is being prepared for Spa, specifically concerning mechanics, which, as usual, will not be announced as an update to the classic list of FIA updates.
The updates to Imola and Spain cost Maranello about 50% of its seasonal resources.

In the tunnel, the “original” version of project 677 uses a pulling front mechanism , with a layout change that now seems to go without saying. The rear end of the 2025 car is still being evaluated , which is much more expensive to reverse in the scheme, due to the large parameters and elements that need to be tweaked, such as the gearbox and differential. Due to budget constraints, it is very likely that Ferrari will stick with the rear pull rod.

Any news on new Head Chief Engineer that will take the place of Cardile?
It seems that Newey contract has been freezed due to Ferrari that is evaluating the engineer's requests on his new possible role in Ferrari team.

Then a slowdown, right up to the current impasse. We can confirm that at the beginning of May Newey's arrival at Ferrari seemed resolved, according to more than competent sources in Maranello. The parties discussed in great detail, so much so that Ferrari gave the go-ahead to a list of requests made by the 65-year-old Englishman , which, as mentioned, also included confidants and defined Newey's operational perimeter. It was said at the time that only a “dramatic coup” by Newey could have blown up the table, which is always possible, but there was no sign of it.

Surprisingly, however, it wasn't Newey who hesitated - the designer considers Ferrari the crowning achievement of his career, and even at Goodwood he sat behind the wheel of Niki Lauda's 312B3, dedicating honeyed words to Mauro Forghieri - but rather there were some reservations on the part of Prancing Horse in giving Newey what was originally agreed.

It's not so much about money as it is about objectives and involvement in the project. Ferrari - initially favorably disposed - has taken its time, quibbling over the feasibility of the operation.
Other talks are progressing, other options are open. There are no closed doors at the moment, including Ferrari.

Newey's demands are certainly nothing new in the British engineer's stellar track record. In 1993 at Williams, he signed a contract extension with a clause stipulating his participation in the most important decisions of the team. In 1995, he further strengthened this position by writing on paper that he should be consulted on the selection of drivers, engine supply and technical battles with the FIA. And it was the appointment of Heinz-Harald Frentzen to replace Damon Hill for 1997 without Newey's knowledge that prompted his move to McLaren, as he recounts in his book. 'There was no room at the table for a third person other than Frank Williams and Patrick Head,' he notes with some disappointment.

In short, when we talk about Adrian Newey, we're not just talking about the most successful engineer in Formula 1 history, but a character with a strong desire to make an impact at all levels. This would be part of an already defined decision-making chain and a delicate balance of power. And it would put serious pressure on Ferrari, as he has won at virtually every team he has moved to since Leighton House.

However, Newey will only be able to officially announce his future in the fall, and will be able to start working with his new team from the second quarter of 2025.

I read the same article but for my experience that website is not affidable on this kind of rumors. As the website said previously, past months, the accord from Ferrari and Newey seemd concluded but now we know that it wasn't true.

They explained it in the new article:

Now we know someone doesnt want to share power with Newey. According to BBC it was Vigna.

I saw some reports that they didn't like his salary requests, which seemed like rubbish. Not wanting to "share power" seems more plausible for Ferrari, but still silly in my opinion. Newey is a proven designer, though his knowledge in what specifically not to do or things to aim for is probably what sets him apart.

I expected that from unexperienced medium italian manager. We have this giant problem to share roles or grant power to important persons because we are afraid to lose it. I would have expect another behavior from Vigna because we worked a lot outside of the Italy with different mindset on that.

The hope
Vasseur “We have been working hard in the company and so in Budapest we will bring an evolved version of the floor that we count on giving the drivers a car with which they can express themselves to the best of their abilities. This season we continue to fight on the edge of the hundredths and having Charles and Carlos in full confidence can allow us to get better results, in the race but especially in qualifying, when it comes to pushing to the limit. I am confident that the package we will have at our disposal at the Hungaroring can allow our team to be the protagonist.”https://formu1a.uno/it/vasseur-in-unghe ... arcellona/

How can reporting be this inconsistent ? Rather than blaming the reporters, this feels like a lot of last minute decisions being made in Maranello leaving everyone surprised.

Anyway, all I hope for is a clean dry weekend where they can work on the setup
