He 100% didn't run out of fuel.FittingMechanics wrote: ↑01 Sep 2019, 16:47Yeah, it needs to be catastrophic. In Bahrain one of Renaults shut down similar to this. Given that Norris said "I'm out" I'd say the engine either shut down or ran out of fuel. Perhaps Renault has issue running on low fuel.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑01 Sep 2019, 16:44Still though the car literally stopped. Even with vibrations on the front left you can't just like 18 seconds in a lap.
Luck always averages out.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑01 Sep 2019, 16:5031 Points difference from Torro Rosso, 39 from Renault and 42 from Racing Point. Still luck is turning our back on us this year so far. We could have been more than 50 or 60 if it weren't for those unlucky DNFs which are a lot this year either by other drivers crashing on us or hydravlic issues or as today the engine. We are definately more unlucky than the rest.
Well, I wouldn't worry too much about Toro Rosso and Renault, but it's just sad. Norris completely destroyed the midfield with a big gap. I'm sure that new spec will bring new problems, because with Renault it never ends.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑01 Sep 2019, 16:5031 Points difference from Torro Rosso, 39 from Renault and 42 from Racing Point. I heard the commentators say it was anti-stall. The car stalled on grid at first and then wouldn't start during pit-stop. Let's wait a bit for more credible sources.
I'm not afraid. We are leagues faster. The others's luck will run out at some point.RonDennis wrote: ↑01 Sep 2019, 16:54Well, I wouldn't worry too much about Toro Rosso and Renault, but it's just sad. Let’s be honest, Mercedes have had three engines go ping this weekend so it’s not exclusively a Renault problem.
