Lando almost got them there… We are now in tire preservation mode… It will be interesting to see how Sainz fairs on the Softs… Daniel doing a good job keeping Leclerc in a 2 second gap, as well as Lando with Carlos

Yup, and it's not a insignificant advantage. Goal should be to just beat Carlos with both cars if possible now.

Surely too early to pit Lando?

Lando lost the advantage of mediums vs Sainz's softs. We lost a chance.

Damn. We don't stand a chance if this is the new status.

Feels that way. Hopefully Daniel can stay 5th to minimise.

Lol. Leclerc is practically on the same pace with Verstappen on the hards. This is so hopeless. One engine upgrade and they are way out of reach now.

Damn I feel a little dissapointed. We were doing so well against Ferrari all this time. What can Mclaren do to gain the upper hand again. Is there any aerodynamic or engine trick to exploit?

There is nothing. They have a better car. Ferrari has been far more consistent this year, and now that their power deficit has been reduced, it shows how much better their car actually has been.

He’s a second a lap faster than the Mclarens and Mclaren thought they’d be ahead at this circuit.

Emag have in mind though that Mclaren wasn't allowed to develop the car as they wanted as they had restrictions not to mention Ferrari has double our budget. Who knows how much faster our car would be had we been let to develop it as we wanted.
