The bargeboards were much smaller in the v8 era from 2010-2013 to what we have now.
I don't see what the size of the bargeboards has to do with the rake?
Nothing new by the looks of it. And yes, the new PU is probably gonna be delayed again.
It definitely isn't a budget problem for them to create different engine covers. Maybe they are not sure whether they want it opened or covered so they bring them this way have to have both options? Have they ever run them half open?
I believe they keep it closed when it's not running to prevent dirt and debris from accumulating inside.
