This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
Not much to say honestly, credit where credit is due. A lot of pressure in that final lap and he delivered an almost purple first sector and finished the lap off strongly. Impressive, but the main job is tomorrow.
I have criticized Lando a lot this year but I must admit that he improved dramatically since Zandvoort. He's another man, doesn't give too much attention to everything which is the right thing to do so he doesn't get affected by pressure, learned to take the most out of the car, learned not to make the same mistake twice and nailed every start and restart in the last two races. He's definitely driving like a champion this time and who knows. If he gets this title he might become an even better driver. Oscar on the other hand has a lot of issues. It might be pressure or something that bothers him and he may lose the title but he has plenty of years to become champion in the near future. Especially if he keeps doing leaps and bounds in improving he's gonna be unbeatable in a matter of the next two years.
This was always a super important race to stop Max from gaining and increasing pressure.
So far so good, now they need to run a good race tomorrow and bag plenty of points.
If Lando gains just 11 points on Verstappen tomorrow he will be 50 points ahead with 3 races to go. Super critical that they don't fumble this chance to increase the gap.
