I've asked about the tyre compound gaps to Isola:
C1 and C2 have very little gap, around -0.1 seconds gap
C2 and C3 gap is 1 to 1.2 seconds
C3 and C4 gap is 0.6 to 0.7 seconds
C4 and C5 gap is not taken into consideration because they aren't proper for Bahrain

This means c2 is slower and less durable than c1, what's the point of c2 then? Also c1-c5 is much worse than superhard to supersoft, I always have trouble to remember which one is the softest.

Here is comparison of Daniel's race sim with last year's Tsunoda's sim. First stint looks better, but the second stint looks similar to last year. 3rd stint is difficult to compare as it was C3 back then to C1 today. But still promising as it's faster with C1 than it was with C3.

This reporter literally was just speaking to Isola who will have most up-to-date info from both Pirelli and the teams

To be honest, Isola has no clue how their tyres behave or what the difference is! He has never really been. Each team will have to find out for themselves and as usual, we will never clearly know the performance difference between the compounds. There have been races where a compound is faster than softer compound next to it. :)

Last year, he claimed the 2023 compounds are over a second faster than 2022 compounds, which was untrue, based on car performances.

Is Lewis just testing how the car responds to going over the kerbs, seeing if it rides them better...

True but don't forget the changes made to the cars in 2023. They clearly had a negative impact.

Testing is merely indicative.
The upcoming race weekend will be definitive.
So good that should be on a T-shirt!!
