Verstappen more or less did the final corner flat on the soft tire. Engineer doubts there is another lap in the soft tire after the first one. No surprises.
It doesn't turn.

Verstappen lifted slightly on the final corner from the onboard shot, but it was pretty much flat out.

Mercedes appear to be doing medium to high fuel long runs at the moment.
It doesn't turn.

A lot of complaints about tire overheating and it shows as many drivers are struggling to get turned in T10.

Alpha tauri appear to have made a large step forward with their Monaco upgrade.. but let's see

Listening to the onboards of Russell/Ham and Verstappen on their soft tire flyers, the Merc is making skid grinding noises in the final corner, the main straight, run to T4, run to T10. The RB is almost silent.

Alpine also look like they have found a good chunk between their Baku (floor) and Monaco(sidepod) upgrades.

Most cars seem to be grounding on the final corner. Leclerc, Alonso, Merc all grounding/bouncing through there

Excited to see what team can be third and fourth on the grid!

I thought Mercedes Amg and Aston would do better with their updates but agian this is FP1 🙈.

Let’s hope it doesn’t rain for FP2…

How detuned are they running the engines I wonder. Others fitting 3rd engine while RB fits the 2nd
