Nissan situation....
Honda should take it as a lesson.
It isn't good to get involved in someone's else problems even if asked by your own government.
Especially when the heads of the ship doesn't even see the ship is already sunk and they steered underwater.
Nissan Leadership thought they could pull a fast one on Honda to save their sinking ship while getting partial control of Honda.
Genius or insanity?

Honda woke up and saw the Truth.

Honda should make some good news by announcing a partnership with Aston Martin Automobile with Fun Automotives.

Also HRC Limited Motorcycles .

I would keep a eye on Mitsubishi Motor shares that Nissan owns.
Mitsubishi most likely would be a better equal partner on future BEV, eVTOL and Space rockets.
I think they have good people but they have a marketing problem,bad decisions caused by partnership with Chrysler.

A Honda partnership with Mitsubishi does have its merits, but whether JAMA allows Foxconn or other foreign entity to acquire a stake remains to be seen. Just please not Tesla.

HRC might be thinking correctly with their GTP program.
Going to customer cars in IMSA GTP( Acura) in 2026.
With HRC( Honda) focusing on WEC( Le Mans) in 2026.

I think the Acura GTP engine should be enlarged to 3.0 L minimum. So still keeping it's compact and lightweight design.

HRC( Honda) should go the Hypercar route in WEC but still using the Oreca chassis but AWD.
Using a 4.0 L W8TT and Two Electric Motors.
On the fly cylinder deactivation each lap( Big bang out 8 cylinder out of the corner,6 cylinder then less cylinders during braking)
Fuel efficiency leads to more laps per fuel load without losing lap time.

Toyota was/ is correct going Hybrid rather going BEV. Taking it step by step.

Honda's focus should be the number 1 in Hybrid manufacturer in Automotive and Motorcycle.

Push BEV in Urban Motorcycles and Automobiles( exchange battery with Lithium and Sodium batteries)with a goal of owning the market share.

What Honda needs from Nissan if the deal goes thru is their Key Engineers, factories in the United States,UK and Brazil.
Truck and Sports Cars platforms.
And most important is Mitsubishi Motors!!


Type-R and Type-S ( HRC)needs to become the Performance Brand of Honda and Acura.

It's too smart to partner with Aston Martin with Sports Cars. This move will make Aston Martin profitable without hurting the brand.
Better manufacturing and logistics will be the reason...not cost-cutting!!!

Honda Rocket first commercial flight should be in 2026 or sooner. It's major selling point is very fast lead times and this can only happen if Honda has its own Space Ports .... mobile launcher system.
Partnering with the Mitsubishi Group to make nano to micro size satellites. Goal is to spend up the manufacturing time building them by using the knowledge of automotive automation assembly systems.

When I was writing this I noticed two black crows flying to me and making all kinds of noice like they wasn't happy about something.

I'd push for V4s in Honda cars too. Especially if the engineers' main development point was the EXACT sound of the earlier VFRs. That undescribable whine-infused-wroom has brought an aura that was so characteristic... How about a 1.5 liter DOHC VTEC, M-TREC, DI, supercharged V4 Civic Type-S(kicker)? With a 5-figure redline?

And I remember certain rumors in the old days which were simply genius. Do you recall the 6-cylinder 360hp S3000 rumor w/balsa wood structural enhancements? Even when it was a completely made up story, drove the hardcore Honda fans crazy...

I'd certainly trumpet an old boys club together who still representing the classic Soichiro values. Let them kill the bean counters and build SUPERSTIMULI again. But puhleeze not some fancy new electric - because they are like muted porn/horror on speed 2.5x. I'd do a Neiman-Marcus-like catalog as well, where you can buy brand new continuation-series RA272s, RC-166s for example - but not for a stellar sum. They would be expensive but not prohibitively.

Today's people (including top tier managers) are too spoiled to notice that we are in a situation when consumers need affordable basic transportation (like after WWs) and NOT superintelligent (meta)data collectors masked as vehicles with hyperinflated prices; crammed with unneded tech that is absolutely dangerous because of their distraction factors/health hazard/privacy issues.

Oh, and isn't it interesting that whoever deleted my earlier post, doesn't have a slightest clue about SSP, 20-and-back military programs and Omega systems...
