All of this is nonsense except that they will be underweight this year (but they already were last year)carisi2k wrote: ↑21 Feb 2025, 23:36I suspect that the crackdown on flexi wings from Barcelona is because Red Bull with the RB21 was going to take wing flexing as far as they could and it was going to guarantee Max a fifth title. I believe that the RB21 will be much lighter then the RB20 which was a porker and at least 20kg overweight. The RB21 will be coming in under or at the minimum weight and they will also have the planned front nose and wing they wanted last year but couldn't because it failed the crash tests.
That is the problem with legend, once it has been established it starts writing and defending itself. It's like when some legendary drivers fail to perform, yet the fault is never theirs.

Highly unlikely. First on track running for the RB21 is scheduled for Tuesday.marcel171281 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2025, 16:08If you pause at exactly the correct moment, it looks like the logo on the rear wing isn't ByBit (the big yellow 'I' isn't there), so is this RB21? Well, the thing is, they never ran the RB20 in Bahrein other than the test itself, but there is no one on the grandstands. But running the RB20 now is not permitted, the car is not old enough and it has clearly the shoulder cannons, so it is most definitely not RB19.lio007 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2025, 16:14Highly unlikely. But when you look at the very first moments in the clip you can see another car entering the pits. So I think we can assume it's from last year's preseason testing.marcel171281 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2025, 16:39Well, the thing is, they never ran the RB20 in Bahrein other than the test itself, but there is no one on the grandstands. Also weird, the images below are screengraps from this (very low resolution video). Left is daylight, right is nighttime, the video switches halfway. The text on the rear wing looks different. Not the same car? And if so, why? And what is it?

You got a point there. They probably also ran multiple rear wings in those 3 days, so the difference in wing can be explained as well, guess we have to wait till tuesday then (if there will be pictures, otherwise wednesday).lio007 wrote: ↑23 Feb 2025, 17:00But when you look at the very first moments in the clip you can see another car entering the pits.
