Clifford the dog is very fast.

Didn't the F150 qualify better in montreal last year? 2nd and 3rd iirc

Yep P2 & P3 in Quali. But the weak points for the F2012 have been top speed & traction. Which have been rectified to a point. Ferrari has out-developed every team on the grid thus far. The rate of development on the F2012 is 2nd to none. It just goes to show all of the rubbish talk about Fry hindering Ferrari, he was crap at McLaren and will be crap at Ferrari talk is just rubbish. He's put in place many things to help the team.
It's this type of development and fighting spirit that attracts top drivers to Ferrari. The season is far from over and they must keep updating the car obviously but as long as they keep improving the car, Fernando is the favourite to win the WDC.

Agreed. Ferrari will attract drivers doing/proving what they are capable of after what they have been able to pull out of the car that arrived in Jerez not so long ago. Massa's seat in 2013 may be the most coveted open seat in F1 and there are a number of drivers becoming avail...

So wait, on a track not suited to Ferrari, we are only 0.3 behind. So on a track say Valencia, we will actually be closer to pole?

Really poor strategy by Ferrari.
Surely can't have this again later in the season.

Ferrari shot themselves in the foot today. Subsequent to McLaren's poor pit stops, Ferrari thought they could steal a win by switching Alonso to a one-stopper. It obviously didn't work out.

Had they pitted Alonso after Hamilton - as I imagine was originally planned - he would have come home in 2nd.

Still trending upward overall though. Hopefully they can learn from this.

Agreed. And, really, aside from today, the team's strategy has been pitch-perfect. At least now they perhaps have a better understanding of the limits.

In other words, DON'T DO THIS AGAIN.

And tell me you wouldn't want to see Lewis in red next year. :P

I have no desire whatsoever for Lewis Hamilton to drive at Ferrari. Literally none.

It's been difficult enough for me to accept Alonso. Otherwise, once an arch-rival, always an arch-rival.

We'll see. I think they will be torn between team harmony and being sick of having no chance to win the Constructors' for years.

Hamilton at Ferrari? No, please.

If Perez makes another 4-5 races like the one today, I am ready to put my money down that he will be in red next year.
