Yes anyone can make the comment, but it would be even more of a joke if a white NBA player says "is it cause i is white?" or whatever the saying is. There is simply no history of discrimination or oppression of white players in any sport, neither is there a majority of black fans, team owners or power brokers, to make it a valid comment. It simply would be a pointless joke. Almost as if Hamilton said"
Is it cause my shoes are black!?.
Or Webber says "is it cause i is tall? most of of the great drivers are around 5' 7". It's cause I is over 6 feet isn't it?"
It just does not fit in any realistic context. So it would be almost impossible to find an equivalent example with a white sports man as the victim which agrees with reality and human history.

“There is no way I was goal-tending on that shot. The ref had it in for me. I was 8 feet out from under the hoop
and everyone knows that White Men Can't Jump".
I think that would be about as unfunny in the same lame A$$ stupid way as what THE BOSS uttered!

The problem with Hamilton's joke is that Europe is not like America when it comes to racist jokes. Europeans are very sensitive when it comes to accusations of racism even when it is put forward in a joke. An believe you me, it there is nothing like telling a European he is racist!

Hamilton could have said it no sweat in the states. American Viewers would be like "yeah, yeah, yeah, angry black man joke, what else is new?" In Europe though... Aaach! he said "black" somebody call the ambulance!

exactly, but there's no outrage in that poor joke. It should be the same for Hamilton's rookie attempt at comedy.

Hamilton is no comedian, so it was never going to come out smoothly, but it's a Joke. It's not a call to arms against the FIA like most make it seem.
