Thanks.
Singapore, maybe Korea. You have long straights (ferrari suffers from max. speed), and you have tehnical slow corners on both tracks, where you need good traction, and good accelaration from slow corners.

Top speed was fine in Hockenheim - i don't think this is an issue for Ferrari any longer.

Spa is the only track I see giving them any real problems.
Spa should be one of the strongest tracks for Ferrari with so many medium and high speed corners and changeable weather.

Agreed, I see Spa being a McLaren vs Ferrari straight fight.

I know the F2012 is supposed to like fast corners, but Spa has been rough for Alonso at Ferrari. Besides, they're still a little bit lacking in top speed.

2010 was strange - he was great in free practice but had a complete shocker in Q3 ending up 10th. Race was compromised by Barrichello hitting him on the first lap and in the end he made an unforced error in the wet. Afterwards, Domenicalli said they went in the wrong direction with setup.

2011 - again he had a poor qualifying in the wet, though to be fair he made a great start and was up there fighting with Hamilton and Vettel for the race win before the safety car compromised his strategy. Then at the end he had the usual problems with the hard tyres.

Don't think he is particularly great at this track, but on the other hand i don't think he's particularly bad either, he has had good results in the past at Spa before he was at Ferrari.

Is there some sort of rule that requires at least one podium finisher from every event to be somehow linked to a future seat at Ferrari?

Anything but Massa, I guess. No holding back, just replace him. He had his fair share of chances.

I agree with everything you said. However, Spa has me gunshy right now.

I'm not especially concerned about Spa. We all know the team is going to push like hell to be as competitive at possible in Monza a week later, and it just so happens that those efforts can bear fruit in the Ardennes, too.

No, the traitor left to form Team Germany. Let him sink with them.
