This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
As I said before, there's no reason that Magnussen needs to return. He's not the future. Ferrari should pay him off so Bearman can drive.
It might be good if they try to do it, but aligning all the contracts could be tricky, there's 5 parties involved
Yeah can't see it being done. But it would be the best for bearman and wouldn't be bad for Haas either. Would give bearman a good run to build confidence before his first full season
What a run from Bearman! Very impressive to outqualify Hulkenberg too, even if it's only by a little. The crash in FP3 didn't seem to have an effect his focus, that's key.
His radio was cute, he sounded so young. Him saying he had a lock-up and he's "such an idiot". It's an F1 driver mentality for sure, but I hope he can leave proud still, he was close.
Bearman is a very fast driver... He has a lot of potential, but he is very very very inconsistent and error-prone. I think these are the main points he needs to improve to have a good career in F1.
For example, last year in F2 he won 4 times with 3 feature wins (which is a lot for a rookie), but he only scored 130 points, which is very few points for an above-average rookie driving for Prema ( the best car/team in that championship). And again this year in F2 he is inconsistent, making fewer mistakes but less fast.
Bearman won the first battle ( out qualifying your teammate )
We shall now see if he can stay ahead in a race that both Williams cars comfortably out qualified both Haas cars.
Possible points, but it is gonna be tough.
Very good race from Bearman, kept it clean and had some good battles, a lucky point is still a point in the end. Made history in his pre-rookie season, crazy
