Rear suspension-wise, the layout is similar to last year.

McLaren has retained the pushrod system (blue highlight).

A similar position top rear wishbone rearward leg (light green highlight) but with a lower top wishbone inboard forward leg mount (dark green highlight) will generate more anti-lift from the rear suspension geometry controlling the car's attitude better under braking.
The driveshaft and its shroud-cum-lower wishbone rear leg (magenta highlight) and the lower wishbone forward leg (yellow highlight) are mounted in similar positions to 2023 but at slightly different angles.

Alpine was the first with that, aswell as the endplateless rearwing main plane showed by Smallsoldier.
Several teams copied those.

Can I just say, and this is in no way specific to McLaren, but this regulation has produced some of the ugliest F1 cars ever. Those long low noses with weird shapes and the sweeping front wings attached directly to the nose, the water slide sidepods which remind me of the 2011 McLaren, the canon outlets with those louvers on them, the 80% bare carbon liveries and the stupid wheel covers, the halo of course. I wish they’d at least improve some of these aspects for 2026.
Apart from the 2014 penis noses and some odd cars from the old days, I don’t remember F1 cars looking this bad.

According to some french analysis post both Aston and Alpine brought the first versions of "endplateless rearwing" you mention at the Monaco GP simultaneously, but maybe you are right, not sure.
I think also that piece on the sides of the rear wing was brought by them once again simultaneously in Bahrain though Astons looked a little bit more refined
