This, and Cadillac's problems, explain why the Barcelona tests will be private.

What kind of problems? Only thing i saw is that the car is quite basic but it's still an A spec car

If true that implies two engine changes in a day. You don't do that for fun.
You'd do it only if you knew with some certainty that it is necessary. Metal particals in the oil, that kind of thing.

These engine would have spent a xxxxx hours in the engine dyno. The engine likely is not coming apart, more to do with installation and cooling.

Audi probably had half the car on a dyno before coming to the circuit.

Sure but you dont have g-forces combined with harsh vibrations on the dyno. Didnt Honda have fuel pump issues early on one year? Only takes one pump to cavitate and your done for the day.

Is it me or the chassis in between the sidepods is very chonky? Did it use to widen in previous generations? I always saw straight down lines from cokpit to floor but here it seems the lines are slanted quite a bit.
