I reckon they got the tyre dynamics very wrong. With the limited testing available, it is very hard to get that right without track testing, and an incorrect translation of conditions from on-track to tunnel is a disaster as far as tuning aerodynamics goes.


Of course I could be wrong... but it would go some way to explaining the ink thrown over the cars.
