I was quite shocked to see a "Tifoso" brand Schumacher as a traitor. Seems some people have short memories.Neno wrote:I never seen Ferrari fan who called Schumacher a traitor You should worship him. He came to some lousy Ferrari after winning two championship with Benneton. He turned that lousy Ferrari into the winning team. And you call him a traitor? - and this coming from Renault fan, not Ferrari, not Benneton, but Renault.
I don't think there's anything wrong with him, he had a horrid weekend in a dog poop car; nothing more to say really. I don't remember you saying this sort of stuff in the past few races, Monaco a track that is mentally demanding than most and he stuck it on pole (in quali that is).bhallg2k wrote:Regardless of the status of his loyalty or disloyalty, I'm not really that psyched about the prospect of a 44-year-old driver in red, especially when you consider that the mind is the first to go, and he turned off his car today for no good reason.
Agreed.bhallg2k wrote:I don't really think there's anything wrong with him, either. That last bit was just my dry-ass sense of humor.
All the same, this is Alonso's team now, and we've seen in the past that he doesn't always play well with others. The last thing I want to see is fate tempted by the reintroduction of an iconic figure who could easily disrupt whatever flow the team has going for it right now.
The problem for Massa is not really lack of pace. Since Barcelona, his pace has been ok. He has various other problems though. One is that he hardly ever performs when it matters - this weekend was a case in point. He was faster than Alonso in most of practice, Q1 and Q2 yet in Q3, Alonso still got the better of him. Same story in Hockenheim and Silverstone and Barcelona, where he should have qualifed higher but could not perform when it mattered. Add to that he made some mistakes like in Canada and Hockenheim.SchumacherM wrote:Anything but Massa, I guess. No holding back, just replace him. He had his fair share of chances.
