Many races to go yet.
But Helmut Marko is not the most patient man and he is not scared of bold moves, at least in the back seats of his kingdom.

STR the dark horse seats for 2019. Listed parts, and super design synergy.

Well placed to be the surprise car for next year.

Listed parts means 100% under the skin is a RBR. As long as they don't totally mess up the aero shell, it should be within a small margin.

I think Hartley has half a chance just purely down to the fact Marko has no one to replace him with. Red Bull have run out of drivers for F1 right now. With Sainz and Ricciardo both leaving at the same time, Red Bull are short of drivers with a licence for F1.

I think they only share the gearbox.

I think It is probably why Key is leaving.
He has had his baby snatched and replaced with a Red Bull clone and all he can do is change the hairstyle.

Q: (Dieter Rencken – Racing Lines, Racefans.net) Franz, with the main team, Red Bull Racing, taking on Honda engines next year, are there any plans for yourselves to have a far far closer technical operation in terms of listed parts etc or how do you see that evolving?
FT: We will have a very close cooperation with Red Bull Technology next year because we will have the same rear part, which means the power unit, gearbox and the suspension, everything within the regulations, because we want to use this much.
Yeah, the front suspension as well, the inner parts, not the outer parts, that’s all, but that’s a lot, because you know the complete rear part means also the hydraulics, the electronics, all this kind of stuff.

I guess copy the Sauber/Ferrari approach will be seen more in the future.

After sharing listed parts, the next thing is transport the engineers between the teams. Don’t just recruit from the baby team, to the main team. But also let people return from the main team to the baby team and spread the knowledge. Sauber/Haas don’t copy the Ferrari, but use Ferrari knowledge to design their own “replica”.

Hartley has been told if he has some decent performances for the reminder of 2018 , his seat is safe
Not much chance of that then?
He was on Gasly’s pace today at least!

Well power is important at Spa, considering Honda’s deficit to Ferrari, I’d say both STR’s put in an impressive showing.

At this point, I guess it's all speculation. Monza is next week, seems a bit close. Some other media outlets are suggesting that it could happen at Singapore, so I think most are just putting two and two together, without any solid info.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

This whole Alonso-RBR saga is getting a bit silly to be honest.
