Had a feeling this would be our best weekend- I just thought it would be quali where we shone and not the race!!

Some good fortune helped us but two incredible drives from Dan and Lando.

Wow, wasn't even aware... A job well done by the whole team.

Norris regaining 3rd in the opening lap was crucial. Think Hamilton might've snatched the win away from them today, if not for that.

Norris also showed his ego isn't larger than his brain. He played the perfect rear gunner for the both of them, although by the looks of it, they had quite a bit in hand there in the last stint. Maybe Hamilton was the only danger man for them, as evident by his pass on Norris at the end of the first stint, but he didn't feature in the second, so they were not troubled by that.

Both drivers did not put a foot wrong all weekend. Both were within milliseconds in qualifying. Both drove incredible sprint races to keep it very clean and gain positions for the race. Both had incredible race starts. Both defended with no mistakes under extreme pressure to keep much faster cars behind (Max and Ham). Mclaren pit stop stretegy was perfect. The celebrations, podium, zac brown, Seidl, the team, the shoey's, having fun, everybody ecstatic was a joy to watch.

This is the sort of drive that got him nicknamed the “Grand Prix bandit” back at Red Bull as he was so good at stealing great results in races!

Epic job by Daniel and Lando today - Daniel "the honey badger" Ricciardo is baaaaaaack!!!!

Just a perfect drive by Daniel today, he drove as fast as he needed to, to get the win, and when the team needed him to go faster to protect Lando in P2, he was able to. Super mature drive from Lando too, putting the team first was just a brilliant attitude from him - he'll get a win sooner than later imo.

We have to point out that we had the best winning ceremony ever. And it was all because Mclaren won (and Ric of course..).
A little bit of topic. How strange it took those two SLOW pit stops for Hamilton and verstappen to crash. If one was half a second slower of faster, the crash wouldn't have happened!
