To worsen matters of Hulks return, he was a "vanilla" driver. Nothing bad about him, and nothing too remarkable either. Not huge returns of having him. He was expert points collector, but it was reported that he was bitter with Alpine on his way out. Anyone remember if it was salary related?
I don't think so. Renault just wanted to put Ocon in the car because he's French!

My guess is with Ocon it’s a bonus that he’s French for Alpine. The team already had a history with him, he was at the time an available young talent, etc etc. Hulkenberg is a nice driver, but not the future star he looked like ten years ago.

What if Albon destroys latifi even more thant George did? and keeps putting the williams where it doesnt belong because latifi is putting it lowere than it really does?
What if Latifi destroys Albon?
It may make use question how good Max is vs George.
You really don't like Russell, do you?
Latifi destroying Albon would not suggest that.
depending on which way things go it would mean Max or George is overrated. haha
Or LH. As we see with getting out-smarted 4 times in the start, that is probably likely. He is one who will likely get out-qualified in the next 2 years!

I guess Vettel will stay @ Ashton. So that leaves the final Alfa Seat. It is between Gio & Nick De Vries or Zhou (F2 - 30M $ Sponsorship money). Alfa Romeo is not a bad car, with Ferrari PU upgrade they will make up another 2-3 tenths & will fight for Q3 with Alpine & Ashton Martin in some tracks !

And Haas is going down a hole. It is the team which will be bought - I think Gene Haas is waiting to sell it in the next 2-3 years. They are surviving due to Mick & Mazepin's sponsors. I don't see them beating Williams or Alfa Romeo even though they switched focus on 2022 a long time back !

I could see Stephen Ross buying Haas and bringing in Maserati or another flashy brand. Hes already bringing F1 to Miami and the man has more money than all other owners (i believe).

Haha, he’s a dinosaur… but he doen’t think he is.

Obviously not him alone, but his investment group (RSE ventures??). He’d just be the name and the pockets behind it. Personally, not a fan of Ross, but a move like this wouldn’t surprise me.

... Any driver who gets involved with cheating like that should have no place in the sport. Alex will be fine IMO
Whatever happened to that Alonso fella who was involved in not one, but two cheating scandals?? 😜😜😜
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

I don't recall any spying going on related to Australia 2009 with a driver or drivers involved in taking sensitive info from 1 team to another. Please fill me in, what happened and who were involved.

No but he came very close and drove for several teams....oh and is still held in the highest regard by many... Not exactly having "no place in the sport"

Your'e quite right. Although he has had a few occasions where he has been blocked from driving a competitive car for one reason or another. And thats both sides of the Atlantic.

A driver and his team were caught blatantly lying to the stuarts and fia about about gaining a position under sc.

Driver was asked by the stewards if he was told by his team to let another driver past and he said no which was a lie which could have resulted in this other driver being wrongly disqualified, had the lie not been discovered. Aka cheating. Which he was disqualified for. And still went on to win championships. Which was the main topic.

Oh you are mistakem, the main topic I was discussing with another user was about information being stolen from 1 team and taken to another team. Like Mclarens spygate mess. As I'm sure you are aware Stepney and Coughlan were sacked and removed completey by their teams for doing this. So as I said before, If a driver does this, he has no place in F1 and should be removed completely! So it has nothing to do with Australia 2009. Thank you.
