Teams knew FP3 was unlikely. However quali will go ahead at some point, be it late afternoon or tomorrow morning so they would have used their time how they thought best

You never know... might turn out handy. If Gasly gets a good start and is in front of Bottas going into the big stop at turn 2 (think back to Hungary this year) it might just clear the way for Norris

Is our power unit in both cars ok?Are we having a normal qualifying? I would love another good result here also after Monza cause Sochi seems to suit the car.

Timing to be out on track will be critical… The times will drop rapidly given the conditions if the track continues to dry

Both cars through which is what matters… Concerned abut about Daniel, this type of conditions should exacerbate his struggles with the car

Both drivers made it to Q3 and so far they both seem faster than the one Ferrari left. Now can Lando Norris be 3rd behind the two Mercedes or make a wondrous lap and split them and can Daniel improve his performance in Q3?

P3 should be doable for Lando, fingers crossed.

I was rooting very hard for Carlos during Q2… The last thing we want for tomorrow’s race was having him P11 with free tire choice

Great job by both drivers to get themselves into Q3… Lando has a genuine chance to start P3 tomorrow

Wet conditions really tough for Daniel. You need 100% confidence in the car. But the extra running hopefully should bode well for q3.

Hope lando can get P3, Dan should be aiming for Top 6.
