Max will be overtaking Lewis soon, Mercedes have thrown away a golden opportunity here.

The skinny rear wing on Verstappen’s car was a master stroke.

To be fair, it's all played into Max's hands so far this weekend with the wet qualifying yesterday. He was able to set his car up fully for overtaking in the dry and not have to worry about starting position.

If the rain comes he may be vulnerable but the way he's driving I'd be less surprised if he went on to lap everyone.

That’s why we are all sitting here and not on the pit wall.

Is Bottas not trying? Maybe he feels wounded by the team and has lost confidence. He's seriously looking horrid out there. He just let Leclerc by like as if he was a backmarker... SMH

It’s been a dreadful performance from him on a track he’s won before. Feels like he’s absolutely mailing it in. I wonder if he disagreed with the engine replacement.

If the intention was to hold up Verstappen, he did the exact opposite and basically waved him through.

I absolutely do think that’s the case. He looks totally uninterested to be used the way they want to use him

Max not going well on the mediums either. Makes you wonder if it would have been better to stay out a bit longer.

Perez is somewhat coming alive, if only he was brave enough to put a move on hamilton when he had the chance.

That's what I meant by Mercedes throwing away a opportunity today, Bottas is going to end up with no points on a track where Mercedes should have outscored red bull. Did they really need that extra engine considering they took one last race as well?

Really hoping Norris holds on here. Completely deserves a win for how brilliant he’s been this season.
