It was always gona play out like that !
What Verstappen was going to a HUGE slice of luck?
I meant due to speed generally he was always gona be on the podium, major luck his way today though at the expense of the Mclaren guys
No he wasn’t without the rain he was going to finish 7th. :wtf:

Great race!

Time to leave the thread before the inevitable Verstappen and Hamilton bickering about to come.

Peace.
Can there be bickering today though? Surely there’s nothing to bicker about. That said, someone is bound to manage it, sadly….

Norris has been let down there. He needed an old head telling him to pit.
They did but he stayed out

Love how Bottas who gave up finished 5th
By nothing but blind luck, though!

Did he just come in a lap earlier than everyone else? He was in the fortunate position of having absolutely nothing to lose, along with Bottas.

Yes he did get incredibly lucky but they made a smart call as a team.

Didn’t you hear him shouting “No!” like a little kid after having been told to pit for Inters?

They seemed to do it half hearted. They needed to be more forceful and lay it out for him.

Very good win for Hamilton, and Mercedes, they read the conditions to perfection. Gutted for Norris, he could have won this one. This is almost the best possible outcome for Verstappen, I knew things would work out for him. P2 is a great result and a bit lucky.

Hamilton leads by 2 points, hopefully the Turkish GP happens, Verstappen needs a win now to balance it out.

Without the weather he finishes 7th. The rain was lucky for him.

What a class move by Norris to come up to Hamilton and congratulate him. And clearly some nice words from Hamilton in his ear.

Max has got a extra engine as well, it couldn't have worked out better for him today.
