Not going to rain this weekend, Red Bull 1-2.

Rain is what gave RBR it's 'easy' wins and damage control in russia.

Dry conditions are far more likely to give Merc a chance to extend their lead.
I would say a priority for Mercedes is not only to extend their lead, but to extend it sufficiently to make sure they can risk Hamilton having a DNF. Ham is ahead by 2, they need atleast 23 points.

With Max now unlikely to need to serve another engine penalty it's going to be between Max and Lewis for poles.

It'll be 3 wins with atleast another driver between Lew and Max to extend this lead sufficiently including fastest laps to have a chance for that.

Anyway, in race trim, Turkey was one of Merc’s most dominant circuits last year. We’ll see what happens with the weather and PU situation for Hamilton.

Hamilton/Mercedes also wasn't dominant last year. They were just lucky with the tyres, somehow finding grip on old intermediates after a weekend absolutely off pace.

But yeah, completely different circumstances this time. Could still be a Mercedes track of course. Or Red Bull. Maybe even Ferrari

Yes. We can not expect high grip, if anything it is still a grip level like Russia. So I do not see any reason why this should not be Merc territory.
