Looks like the Ferrari is handy around here, which is perhaps not unexpected! Great to see.

If qualifying laps are deleted at the rate of FP3 laps, it will be most amusing indeed.

They always seem to clean that up in Qualifying, unfortunately.

Top time was only about 1-2 tenths faster than Bottas’ FP1 time.

Merc have more to come, as the track is probably at least 8-9 tenths (minimum) faster than FP1 today.

FP1 and FP3 conditions similar this year.

The cars were faster last year, as well.

Extremely windy right now so I doubt it's faster

I'm not saying they don't, but Max's and Lewis' fastest laps were deleted. Those were around 0.5s faster than bottas' fp1 lap, and they certainly didn't gain that much going 1 cm off track.

Merc is using BOT to test this new/old squatting device/setting in order to see had HAM could win this race with an M-H tyre one-stop race having the same top speed as VER in the race or with a most probably 2 stop race (due to uncertainty triggered by the high track temps) with a higher top speed setup that could easily overtake the direct opposition ...

Bad decision in hindsight for Aston Martin sending out Vettel. Stroll would've been through if he didn't.
