Yeah, that engine upgrade has been massive for Ferrari.

Qualy will be close… In this race, having a setup that protects the tires may be more important than outright speed in qualifying… With tire degradation been high and a lot of talk about a potential 2 stopper for the race, if the team can protect the tires, it could have a big payoff in the race which is what ultimately matters

I’m picking the heat and tyre deg to favour McLaren. Ferrari this season has tended to fall off in these situations, sometimes dramatically. I’m not so sure their recent PU upgrade, which was essentially a battery that had better deployment, is as massive a step as some make out. With VB taking a 5 spot penalty and Checo looking strong I think P4-6 in qualifying is the zone. I think if Ferrari shade us in qualifying then jumping them with our great start ability and tyre management is goal. Daniel has looked better here and I expect him to be closer to Lando. Game on!

Very good first lap from Danny. The car seems competitive and we prevailed over Ferrari in that first battle.

Let's see what they will show us in the second battle.

The better question is that last Q3. The car seems to die in performance in that Q3 sometimes.

Q3 time. Danny didn't do that well on that Q2. Let's see what happens on Q3. We need at least one driver in front of the Ferraris and the other if not in front at least next to them.
