The fact we are even in it is still a miracle. The FER now is superior/on par in most areas on track. We are no slouches but that FER with the engine upgrade is now a seriously good car

I dont know if we made a mistake with the setup. I cant understand why Norris with mediums pitted earlier than Sainz with softs.
Its strange that Ric is 3rd in the vote for the driver of the day atm.

They wanted to try something in order to get track position because they had no pace to get Sainz on track.

I hate that the TV director cuts away as soon as the front 2 finish! Had no idea what was happening in behind. Annoys the hell out of me.

Despite what people think I still believe that the game is still on. Ferrari is a stronger team than Racing Point last year but we are also better than last year and I am sure we can beat them again in the following races. 3.5 points lead. If they want 3rd they will have to get it over our dead body as we won't give it easily.

Its the unfortunate reality of not being first and second and battling for first. We must be able to fight for 1st place to get the spotlight. However it's not a matter of IF but when. 2022 with the reset is a great chance.

Don’t forget that Lando will probably need to take a new ICE in the last remaining rounds.

I would say the same for both Ferraris. They will definately need to also change parts. In any case I wish you good night. Got to go to sleep as I'm working tomorrow.

No, they plan to run the same PU system until the end of the year.

Yep it’s back foot against Ferrari now. Their advantage is beyond track specific so it will take good work to hold P3. Ironic given that Daniel is now providing the results we needed to fight them. Hope it’s not another season of Lando fading, he seemed subdued and in Daniel’s shadow all weekend. Still all to play for but if we do end up P4 it’s been an improvement on last year’s P3. Ferrari are back.

Subdued and in Daniel’s shadow? I don’t think I agree with that… Just a couple of races ago he was on pole and on track for a win in Sochi… He had more pace than Daniel during the weekend, but didn’t put together his last lap in Q and in today’s race track position showed to be critical and the reason why he ended behind.

I’m glad that Daniel is performing and contributing to the team and that he is there to bring the points, but to say that Lando now is in his shadow is quiet an stretch in my opinion.

I hope both keep pushing themselves, since that ultimately is what is best for the team.

Sorry, I edited and then read your post. “this weekend” added. Lando seemed in his demeanour almost like he was missing the love… The margins of course were tiny this weekend but Daniel seemed to be on his level for once.
It’s beyond debate that Lando has had by far the stronger season but maybe it was the realisation that Ferrari are now third quickest plus things haven’t gone his way the last couple of races…. the interviews could be interpreted as either subdued or just reconciled.
