Perez will jump Hamilton now, as Hamilton is stuck behind Leclerc.

Championship fight is over imo.
Indeed so. The only way Max ends the season anything other than champion is if he retires in the next few weeks!
And everyone who’s still saying Merc has the better car, still wears a tinfoil hat. I still believe RB has the better package

I’ll continually say so, the Champion of every season has driven the best car of that season, unless something unfortunate happens like in 1982.

I expected they would go for it too, but missed opportunity it seems

Yes indeed, it seems they want to have fresher tyres and block the classic "Hamilton coming back at the end" strategy that Mercedes have used before.

2 stop for Hamilton perhaps as a gamble? Run these hards flat out and then go to the new mediums they have in hand>

I think RB are trying to be exciting and overtake Lewis on track by the end of race with Perez on fresher tires

I actually think PER is going MED - SOFT if he can bring these tyres another 14laps

Verstappen lost around 2s behind those backmarkers, we'll se how fast they jump out of hamilton's way.

Was really hoping the Mercs to be in front as they were the slower car. That damn RB car and team are too good at controlling this race that it's becoming stale. Let's put the nail in this coffin and get Perez ahead of Ham

That would put pressure on Hamilton and ensure that the fastest lap point goes to a Red Bull. It's going to be a Red Bull 1-2 whatever.

As it turns out it was something similar.

Unlikely Perez can overtake Hamilton. Has to make up 10 seconds and overtake with a much slower car on straight. It also looks like Mercedes' pace is better on hard than medium, same as in USA.

Well, better still don’t make them faster than RB.

The oly way hamilton can do something is change the game with second pit. Verstappen would pit too, but on softs mercedes can be better maybe. Otherwise he risks perez to catch him in the end. Honestly perez is not capable to beat hamilton, in my opinion
