Mercedes engine and Daniel's and Valtteri's hands.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑08 Nov 2021, 23:08Ok but how can Bottas be explained not able to pass Ricciardo with damage even though his car was faster?
It's not the first race Bottas ruined. In an earlier race I think Daniel was 2nd after that first turn till Bottas hit him in the back while at the same time Leclerc played kamikaze on Lando.djos wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 00:53Well, that was a frustrating race!! Bloody Bottas being too timid into the first corner, braking early and then getting tagged by Daniel completely ruined Dan's race!!
And then the twat spends the rest of the race harassing Daniel and wrecking his tire life and ruining any chance of getting points!!!He really does not deserve to be in a front line car! Merc should have ditched him last year!
True, Bottas should never have been "promoted" from Williams, he's just not a top tier driver.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 01:09It's not the first race Bottas ruined. If you are referring to the Hungarian GP, it was Stroll who crashed into Leclerc pushing him into Lando. Leclerc was just as much a passenger as Daniel and Lando. Crazy race…Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 01:09It's not the first race Bottas ruined. Bottas defended so poorly to the point i suspect it was possibly deliberate as he could not care less now he has lost the Merc seat. Look back at 2019 with both Ferraris on the front row vettel defended hard and refused to let Ham who was behind through. Bottas in comparison waved Max through with a red carpet.djos wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 00:53Well, that was a frustrating race!! Audi and Porsche would be starting from scratch or well below Where Merc is right now. Even with an engine rule change they would be on the back foot massively. As Merc has so much IP and tech already in F1 engines that could carry over to any new design engine in 2026 or whenever it is they decide. Not to mention Merc have over 600 staff, the facilities built, computer systems, dynos, etc etc. Audi and porsche are nowhere near this level right now.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 09:26After reading those news regarding Audi and Porshe, I would welcome a Mclaren Tag Porshe partnership again. It was that partnership which started the Mclaren dominance in the 80s getting Lauda and Prost in the team and giving Lauda his 3rd championship and Mclaren conquering titles from 1984 to 1986. However there are some questions also.
Is it a good idea to change from Mercedes to Audi Engines considering what happened last time with Honda as they will need time to be on F1 top level?
Is the new team of Zak Brown better at making the new engine compatible enough with the car so that it doesn't break down like what happened with Ron Dennis's previous team and the Honda engine?
I remember the Honda glory days tooDarth-Piekus wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 09:26After reading those news regarding Audi and Porshe, I would welcome a Mclaren Tag Porshe partnership again. Ahhh correct, my mistake. I think it was Ricciardo that Leclerc was pushed into in Hungary? I need to go back and see the video.Ground Effect wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 16:51Bottas took out Lando in Hungary.codetower wrote: ↑09 Nov 2021, 01:21If you are referring to the Hungarian GP, it was Stroll who crashed into Leclerc pushing him into Lando. Valtteri Bottas braked late, causing him to hit the back of the McLaren of Lando Norris, sending Norris into Verstappen,
