Ferrari within 7 tenths of Red Bull with highly detuned engines was very decent for them. Think they probably have the edge at Interlagos on us to be honest.

Think our chances will come in the Middle East triple header.

Have in mind that Mclaren did not run the softs and were more underpowered than Ferrari. I think we will be very close.

Ok, Ferrari has definitely improved, but you can't tell me this team hasn't gone to sh!t these last couple of races. We are being beat by fookin Alfa Romeo lol.

Good that we have a gap to AT and Alpine in constructers. Our form is terrible…

I will agree on that. It's not Ferrari's upgrade on the engine. Mclaren has stopped updates and has gone backwards if teams like Alfa Romeo and Alpha Tauri are beating them easily. That means Ferrari and the other teams are still updating.

Ferrari hasn't updated anything outside of the PU. They really haven't updated much of anything since maybe beginning of the summer.

Not sure any team has been bringing upgrades in all honesty given the big change in regs next year. Would guess just fine tuning of what they have

I find it hard to believe considering Mclaren is going backwards each GP.

Ehm, someone is forgetting Gasly was in top6 quali in 13 out of 18 races?

Gasly has been arguably driver of the season in the Alphatauri imo. Been getting everything and more out of that car

Traditionally Interlagos has never been a McLaren circuit and this year it doesn't look like things are going to change.

I don't think it's a circuit anymore. Mclaren has gone backwards and that can happen if the others are updating. Fine tuning should not be enough by the fact that Mclaren should also be fine tuning to find performance.

However considering Mclaren's superior starts if we have both Mclarens eat the first Ferrari in tomorrows Sprint and then the other Ferrari on Sunday start there is a good chance we can beat them here.

I’d guess we will be the aggressors in the sprint given we need to overhaul a points gap so less to lose now.

Be interesting to see how it pans out!

I don't know how the racepace will be, but I doubt we will be able to challenge Ferraris under normal conditions here as well.
