It is what it is. 3rd is gone now. Need to focus on getting our infrastructure built ASAP.

Lando did not deserve this. Ferrari did not deserve those points today.
For someone that claims to have watched F1 for the last 3 or more decades… You sure seem to not know that this is Motor Racing… As a matter of fact, we have been spoiled the last few seasons with the highest levels of reliability in the history of the Sport.

My friend that is bad luck. It has nothing to do with reliability. But doesn't matter now. On another note I am grateful to see Fernando Alonso on a podium.

Has anyone learned what happened with Lando?

One stop less than your teammate and 30 seconds behind him. This has been the Ricciardo's race. In my opinión, his worst race in McLaren.

Ted reported from pitlane, confirmed puncture they just caught it before it went like bottas/Latifi etc.

I don't understand why ferrari is lucky here..it is down to the car setup and ferrari is kind on the tire but the race pace is slow...I feel McLaren got it wrong with the car setup

McLaren did nothing wrong. Daniel was just slow as sh*t. Lando was onto an easy 5th before he got a puncture.

Ah, so unlucky with the puncture. Great race from Lando, we did not have pace to catch ALO. WCC 3rd is gone, so points loss is not that big deal. It was nice seeing the car having pace for P4 in the end.
RIC on the other hand was bad. I think he boxed at the same point as VET and later was over 20s behind him. I don't know if it was tyres, but starting on mediums, there was no other choice. Another weekend to forget from him.

edit: just watching Daniels interview he is saying he got to do a lot of fuel saving since start of the race. Apparently something funky with fuel level reported to team.

Yeah, I don't understand. I was surprised that Ferrari's Front end wasn't stronger. Goes to show us that the 2 team's cars have very similar strengths and weaknesses. Norris got a puncture, which basically he didn't deserve but hey who else is responsible for that if not Norris? Sounds like he just ran over something.

FYI Ricciardo had fuel saving warning from lap 1 on and had to fuel save for much of the race. Shitty luck.
