That is light shadow

its been discussed here in the technical car section

Sure it is...
What a great technical come back, I am convinced #-o

Here is the actual high resolution video of the same thing which is reduced in quality and compressed to hide the fact that it is sun light which is shining through it.

And gone was Ham insane top speed advantage in Qatar even though RB was running the Monaco barn door. If only the FIA would have told Merc after Brazil qualifying to replace the torque screws on the lower RW panel with fixation screws. We wouldn't have seen him coming theough the field like that in sprint and main race. 3rd in main race would have been the highest position he could have reached. Yes the engine is better and yes the car was improved but the stalling of the RW was key for all the overtakes. To hear Toto claim "it's against us, Lewis has experienced it all his life and now we do too" after the race was very misplaced. They were very very lucky to get away with that last chance for the WDC. Just my 2 cents..
I thought this was a technical forum! Please read up on what is actually happening than listening to gaslighting from Horner

Same wing.

Mark Hughes destroys the RBR theories here:

It's incredible how much detail you can see on a 120p video nowadays. I'm amazed with Twitter ngl =D>

For the umpteenth time, could you please keep the forum on topic....the RBR F1 TEAM. Discuss Merc and Hamilton on the relevant fora.

Are they flying straight to Jeddah after Qatar since there's a week until the next race?

Wondering if RB will solve the DRS flapping issue next race.

Even if the team move to Jeddah, the teams in UK can correct the wing and send it to them before the race start

Horner confirmed they will. And I sure hope they do, since the RB16B seems to work much better with the spoon wing they were supposed to use in Qatar.

Where have they ran the spoon wing before? Any high speed GP's they ran this wing?

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but my understanding is that the problem is with the robustness of the actuator, and re-designing that part would require a token.

have they ever had issues with the actuator in the past, or is it a new thing? Seems odd that it's only happening now. Would any other changes in design of that part of the car influence how it works and indeed if it works?

That's correct, it's a 1 token change (see page 124).

It happened last year as well!

So they cannot change it for the last 2 races?

So they cannot change it for the last 2 races?

22.7.4 b is the only rule that I'm aware of that would allow them to revert to a previous revision.
In the case an HC component has been revised either through the use of tokens, or
before its homologation date but does not meet the Competitors expectations, it will
be permitted to revert back to the original specification of this HC component within
five Competitions from its first introduction. Any tokens used may not be re-used for
other purposes, and the new specification must be discarded.
However the freeze date for DRS components was the middle of last season. Thus unless they spent a token in the last 5 races to modify it, they are stuck with it till the end of the season!

edit: it's worth noting the Homologation rules have these 2 extra bits of information.
possible to homologate 2 options for different levels of downforce
attached to the rear wing flap. linkages to achieve different kinematic characteristics are allowed
