The departure of PMI is the best thing that could happen for Ferrari's future.

Worth mentioning the Qualcomm logo is black, white and red. Combine that with Santander (white and red) and Ferrari’s teaser images being red writing on a black background - I’m expecting a return to 90’s Ferrari liveries of red body/black wing.

Though usually Santander is red text on white, so… idk I’m back to square one come to think of it

The power is there. All the work of the last weeks on Km to have no degradation after 4/5 races. Only the opponents, on the track, will tell if the package is highly competitive as they hope in Maranello after the long run.

Oh, that look is going to be awesome, early 90s black and red.

Nice touch to have that yellow band on red for Sainz, Jr., invoking a bit of the Spanish flag while Leclerc has the white band on red, a combination that invokes the Monaco flag.

The black bits possibly might have been nicer if they didn't just ignore the collar/button down bit, but maybe I'm nitpicking. Yeah, nice, and also, cool hope they use the added black well (instead just on the bottom bits to hide details).

Charcoal black.

I think all red is better. But I do like the black incorporated in the design for a change, I’m up for retro Ferrari  I do think they could’ve executed the design a bit better though.

This is a massive season for both drivers. Their reputations are going to be cemented one way or the other.

Is Sainz another 1.5 driver, like nico Rosberg? Or is he now a fully contending very top draw driver? I think in natural talent terms, maybe not. But if he works hard and consistent enough to get his very best out of himself at 110% like Nico did in 2016, then he can pull off a Ferrari upset on the golden boy that is Leclerc.

Leclerc lost to Sainz but there was reliability disparity last season which could explain the offset in points. The question is, was that Leclerc’s average season or his best? Only he knows. Last season probably isn’t the best of Of Sainz, that’s probably still to come as he further embeds himself in the team and un locks more out of himself as he adapts to the Ferrari that bit more again, especially when it’s built to cater to his inputs and needs a little more.

My gut says Leclerc will step it up this season and solidify his position as Number 1 but if he doesn’t, his Stars and Stripes will have lessened from his beating of Vettel (which is already questionable as Vettel doesn’t appear to be at his best anymore? Or wasn’t as Great as the car made him appear in his hayday)

I like the idea, especially the stripe, but the execution is messy in my opinion. Having a red shirt and then have to place a red square in the black band because your sponsor wants a red background or something?
And, on Sainz edition especially, I think those are three different shades of yellow?
