Scuderia AlphaTauri AT03 Speculation Thread

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

So pushrod front, pullrod rear... I expect RedBull to use the same setup. Also similar sidepods to Haas, wide and with a downward slope.

Interesting.

The side pods are creating downwash towards the back like a lot of the designs from the last regs. But they are also narrow and square at the front, almost akin to the AMR. The Side pods are elongated from front to back, dominating most of the side of the car instead of aggressively down washing like the previous cars.

Very aggressive undercut but its like an in-between of AMR and Haas.

So they have push rod suspension at the front and pull rod suspension at the back. Could it be that RB has the same kind of suspension?
Also look at the back of the car, is seems a huge exit for hot air, just like Mclaren...
A long nose compared to the others, interesting

The renders look awful, so many mistakes they didn't even bothered to make it look like is the real car

Looks like the nose is joining to the leading edge of the front wing. Other cars so far have had the leading edge plane hanging below and ahead of the nose.

It's missing many of the tricks we saw on the others. Even the Haas has he double step in the diffuser. This one doesn't have the barge style side pods either. Where the nose meets the front wing also is very basic. This presentation is a very early development model for sure.

I am glad they didn't waste my time with long-azz presentation!

So pull rod comes pretty far forward compared to what we've seen so far

Inlets and sidepod front face like AM, but then they drop the undercut for a downwash.

Only nose thus far that extends past the wing, i'm thinking fake.

As far as I know, Franz Tost confirmed in a article that they will be using redbull rear suspension, gearbox, and he said they may use parts of the front suspension or the whole thing. Anyway I don't expect them to design there own, they've been quite reliant on redbull for the past few years,
AT seems to have standard suspension (pull rod front, push rod back).

Just on renders though. I would wait until we see the real deal before arriving into conclusions.
