The sidepods seem to be direct evolutions of the previous williams cars, very short and downwashy sidepods, with very little side undercut at their widest point...
So the engine cover around the engine looks very similar too, but with a smaller bulge around the fuel tank. (in the last Williams cars, that bulge was caused by their particular fuel tank shape and their large and protruding intercooler-to- engine duct.

From afar it looks like Prost is back on the grid. Interesting to see another proper car rather than a render, and makes a mockery of their earlier livery reveal if they were going to post shakedown photos regardless.

The top of the nose, upon close inspection, seems to have some shape to it. It resembles a finger/finger-nail like topology.

Very interesting indeed.

It looks like the upper arms are parallel to each other and are both in front of the pushrod, whereas the bottom arms have a traditional layout.

McLaren we can’t compare fully until it’s out on track but certainly compared to the Aston the Williams looks very good

Looks like, with the floor being the most important source of downforce, they compromised flow to the rear wing all in favour for the floor. Could be smart thinking... bit like Alpine worked on in 2021.

So far, I think the only three cars we can really compare are the Aston, Alfa, and Williams. Mclaren obviously is hiding / withholding stuff, RBR hasn’t shown anything yet, and Haas was just an early render.

Does anyone else get late 2000s vibes from the shape of the sidepod inlets? For some reason it reminds me of the 2008/09 era with the trapezoidal shape. Also, these pictures were pretty well selected, since they don't show anything about the leading edge of the floor or the side profile of the car.

Interesting to see if they are the only team to go for a round nose; I feel like it might be slightly less draggy but not sure if that's true, or how much of a difference it would even make.
